Me and my friends

Today I have a little surprise for you, my followers and friends at the same time. I've done a photo compilation for all the moments I've spent with you. And well, you could think, why? Am I so important to appear on Gerard's blog? Of course. Otherwise, what am I supposed to talk about in this class project? I want to write and talk about all the things I consider important and you obviously are one of those things.

Like everybody in the world, I'm a Harry Potter fan too. It's so exciting reading the books and watching the films! I'm pretty sure that everybody feels the same, but if there's a person, just one, who hates everything related with Harry Potter I have to honestly say this person needs help. Are you looking forward to the last film? If any of you haven't seen the trailer yet here it is.

Why table tennis?

The fist time I ever played table tennis I won a competition in a hotel in Mallorca beating my brother in the final when I was 7 years old. Nine years later I found out that my brother let me win so for 9 years I thought I was a good player.
Here, in the link below is a film of the match we played. My brother is the Catalan boy who looks a bit Chinese and I’m the tall and strong left-handed player.



The reason they speak in Chinese is that in Mallorca that week there was a special offer for Asiatic tourists: 1 for a 100.

My first post ever

Hi! I'm Gerard Flynn. First of all, I would like to warn to all my viewers and followers that I don't have any experience making blogs. The most similar thing I have used to a blog is a Fotolog, which is really different and which I used many years ago. Now I'm in Facebook and I love chatting with my friends and commenting on their pics but I'm aware that this is really different.
So, as you know this is my first blog and, as is understandable, I don't really know how it works. I have to say as well that in normal conditions I would write in Catalan but since this is a class project I’m writing in English.
So, what am I going to write about in this blog? I'm going to write about everything I like, such as my classic table tennis matches, books that I pretended to have read, films I haven’t really seen, places I haven’t visited and famous people I haven’t met yet, but probably I’ll just talk about my favourite subject: me and my friends.
So, this is the introduction. I hope you'll enjoy the rest.
